Finally, the Department of Primary Education evaluates the answer sheets of the candidates and on the basis of the evaluation, they are selected for the Viva examination. Candidates from Sylhet district were scheduled to appear for the exam on May 20, but due to the flood situation, the date of the exam was announced in the third phase.

According to the recruitment circular published in 2020, 33 thousand assistant teachers were mentioned in the recruitment posts across the country, but later the vacancies were increased to 45000 subject to increase. Candidates have been repeatedly preparing to participate in this exam as per the date announced by the Department of Primary Education. This date has been delayed due to various reasons.
