The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council conducts examinations all over the country on the first of October. A question paper with 60 multiple choice questions is prepared and its question papers are given to the students and taken for examination. Subsequently the roll number was published in their merit list after the examinees participated on this question paper and were able to answer the highest number of questions correctly.

Although the Nursing and Midwifery Admission Test is held separately every year, in 2023 it is held simultaneously across the country for the Corona situation. This admission test is held at different test centers of the country and is held at the same time. About 80,000 students from across the country applied for BSc in Nursing and Diploma in Nursing courses.
